First we need to create an account and buy a domain name.

Point NameCheap Domain to DigitalOcean Server

Login to your NameCheap Account, click Dashboard.

Create A Project
Select Your Domain

Click for the domain you wish to use.

Create A Project
NAMESERVERS

Under NAMESERVERS select Custom DNS.

Add DigitalOcean's Nameservers
  • ns1.digitalocean.com
  • ns2.digitalocean.com
  • ns3.digitalocean.com

Now your domain name is pointing to your DigitalOcean server.
